**KNOWN SPRING OF SORROW ISSUE**

I am really unsure what's the plan with mcoc, with introduction of another 10/10 defender in enchantress, seems the game has moved from contest(mcoc) to a game of defenders(mdoc).
It's already been tough with AI and input issues and in top we already have been getting insane defenders. I donno what planning is behind this with increasing numbers of insane defenders because weren't the nodes already made existing champs pretty amazing defenders. Now with these 10/10 defenders and insane nodes. The game will be literally unplayable. It's not about attackers anymore, but getting defenders.
Till now my focus has always been getting champions I like playing in attack. But now its about defenders.
Also, I don't think general player based have time to do PhD in mcoc. Give us a break please, it's already tough to keep up.

They definitely went too far when they released kindred/photon/maestro/onslaught/bullseye all right next to each other, then bring serpent slightly later who was the biggest problem out of them all.
I get that we have to have new defenders every now and again to change up the meta, but my god we’ve had 7 new 4.5/5 or 5/5 defenders in the past year, and we really don’t need more than like 3 maybe 4 per year. Couple that with the fact that almost all the new attackers have lackluster damage and we’re just left with a bad feeling about new champ releases.

Enchantress isn’t out yet so let’s wait for her to actually release
I fully agree with serpent being bs but every other defender has a lot of counters in the past year (onslaught, photon, maestro, and bullseye to a lower extent). The last hard defender we had was 5 months ago and Enchantress could be much fairer from what we know. If serpent ends up getting a pretty big nerf I’d say that we’re all good

I couldn't even keep up with showcase lol. I still don't use champs like viv vision, punk, even Kate due to additional inputs required in special attacks.

If they nerf him they better not nerf his attack value, only his defense value

If they nerf him they better not nerf his attack value, only his defense value
Based on recent balance updates, unlikely, not like bullseye got nerfed or onslaught.
The game is all about 5-10 defends now and who can counter then, they just diminished value of other champs.
All you have to do is fight these 5-10 defenders every single day in background and war now.
Before it was about specific nodes refreshing bgs, but now since we have op defenders. Nodes don't matter do they.
I am reaching a breaking point really. Donno how long I can keep up. My mcoc time is diminishing in the end.

I think the main issue with these defenders is that we haven't had any good attackers to balance things out. The best we've had this year is prowler which is saying something (maybe Bill also but too soon to tell as we don't have him)

That's laughableThink Kabam are almost scared to release 5/5 attackers because they'll be over powered, get nerfed and then people will kick off that the good attackers get nerfed but hard defenders don't

One of the biggest problems with these defenders is that they aren’t properly balanced. It’s either you have a hard-counter, or you’re in trouble or screwed. Moreover, adding a slightly difficult node makes even hard-counters struggle. And I’m not talking about skill-based difficulty, just straight-up unfair challenges or bullies of defenders. It’s bad to the point that in Battlegrounds, if you don’t have one or two specific champions, you lose the round miserably. Everyone one of these defenders, you can sense they tried so hard to punish you by making you lose health even when you strive to play well and prevent that.
When it comes to designing end-game, difficult content, some defender nodes will need to include positive nodes that benefit the attacker to counter the defenders’ unbalanced or unreasonable abilities. We’ve already seen an example of this with Onslaught in SOS. And now Enchantress in EQ. The content design team will have to be extremely careful with these defenders and the nodes applied to them, maintaining a healthy difficulty level. This is always considered with every defender, but for these recent ones, extreme caution is needed because they seem to have built-in nodes.
I felt like there’s in a competition in the champion design team for who design the tougher defender 😝. And this is all recent.

I guess they could. But I was talking about new additions with new abilities like they are giving defenders.
I want to see kabam give us an attacker in the level that bullseye and serpent are on defense and see of they tune them down1
